Typical Office Building

Problem: What do we do with a 50-ton AHU condenser section which is hard mounted to a roof and the compression vibration is transmitting into the office below?
Solution: Cut main support at condenser side and install 3” deflection free standing spring along with safe support tube.

Problem: The vibration from a 1500 KVA transformer (located above the operating room) causes sensitive operating room equipment and machinery to shut down…and the building is located in a seismic zone.
Solution: Cut core section away from casing and installed “free-standing” 2-inch deflection springs in combination with seismic snubbers.
Pipe Riser

Problem: What do we do when you are faced with pipe riser vibration and it is creating air borne noise?
Solution: Re-support with 3” deflection springs and an additional 1” vinyl loaded pipe wrap to reduce the air borne noise.
